Featherstone offers a unique group class experience with both Physio and Qualified Instructor run classes available.
Both offerings are guided and influenced by all Physio assessments and advice to ensure every class suits and works with each client's individual needs.
Maintenance Memberships, Class Packs and Casual visits for Physio run classes are eligible for Private Health Insurance rebates, following an initial assessment with a Physio.

CLASS STYLES
Featherstone offers a wide variety of group classes that cover all of your movement needs.
We believe in treating your body to a wide variety of movement styles and have options available for all ages and ability levels.
Both Physio and Qualified Instructor run classes are available.
Both offerings are guided and influenced by all Physio assessments and advice to ensure every class suits and works with each client's individual needs.
All scheduled Physio run classes will be prefixed with "Physio" on the schedule for ease of booking.

PHYSIO / PILATES
MAT FLOW

FOCUS:
Posture and body awareness, spine articulation and joint control, core muscle strengthening.
BEST SUITS:
Beginner to intermediate clients who are active newcomers or have low level, low care pain.

A deliberate, precise practice of movement and breath, designed for both those looking for more alignment and individual instruction to start or progress your therapeutic movement journey.

To have some fun monitor progress through strength and conditioning challenges.

Active Ageing

Stretching, strengthening, weight bearing exercises with a focus on balance and posture.

Clients who are osteopenic, osteoporotic or have reduced balance

Improving mobility, bone density and reducing falls risk whilst managing injuries/discomfort.

Power & Mobility

FOCUS:
A class designed for the male physique. Incorporating strength, power and agility with flexibility, releases and dynamic breath.

Blokes of all ages & fitness levels

Focused & Balanced
All Levels | 45 minutes
FOCUS:
A class that specifically targets trunk and limb alignment, joint mobility, flexibility and control and muscle strength and conditioning all relevant to running, walking and hiking.

Intermediate | 55 minutes
FOCUS:
Ballet and dance inspired moves and choreography that challenge balance, coordination and strength infused with fast-paced cardio bursts.

Flowing & Fun
All Levels | 60 minutes
FOCUS:
An open level class via Zoom, that provides overall body conditioning and balance as well as personalised input from the instructor from the comfort and convenience of your own home.
BEST SUITS:
Anyone who isn't able to make it into the studio for a class - new-Mum's, travellers, interstate clients or even studio regulars who want to squeeze in a class from home!
